It’s Wedding Season! What are we wearing?

Wedding season is upon us! I love wedding cake and and dancing the night away, but I’m sure we all feel the dread figuring out what we’re going to wear. This week I’m sharing two fun looks and my go to bag for this season.

Tuxedo Mask

I decided to borrow from the boys for my first look. I absolutely adore a man in a tuxedo, especially when they wear the white/cream tuxedo jacket and black pants. It's a timeless look, that is polished, and glamourous.

For my look, I’m wearing a white linen tuxedo blazer from Theory, a silk camisole from Aritzia, black wide leg pants from &Other Stories, paired with my sky-high Brian Atwood heels.

My favourite part of this look is my blazer. I’m sure I’ve mentioned that I love blazers and I just couldn’t resist.

Flirty Floral

My second look for the wedding season is a fun and flirty floral look with my white blazer in case of a cooler evening. I bought this dress from The Kooples a couple years ago and it was love at first sight. One of my favourite things about this dress is that it looks great braless! As I am quite large chested this rarely occurs, so its a huge win. Also its really comfortable and It’s made of 100% Silk with a cotton lining (I really dislike the lack of lining put in dresses these days). Paired with the white linen tuxedo blazer and my gold gladiator flats this is a great summer wedding look, especially for an outdoor wedding.

The bag, the gift, and lipstick

What do you normally carry in your clutch when attending a wedding? I normally bring my lipstick for touch-ups later, perfume because after many rounds on the dance floor you may feel a little funky. Last but not least a gorgeous card filled with $$$. I’m a stationary lover so I definitely take time to find the perfect card! I love this card company A Note to Her in particular because they make cards that feature diverse illustrations on the covers and it’s woman owned and local (Toronto).
